Prof. Michael G. Schimek, DPhil, PhD, is founding director of the Statistics & Research Atelier Vienna, established in 1990. Supported by his team, customers benefit from Prof. Schimek's more than 30 years of experience in research, consulting, and mentoring in the biomedical sciences.
Prof. Schimek is the only Austrian Chartered Statistician accredited with the Royal Statistical Society in London.
Prof. Schimek was among the first Austrian statisticians specializing in the analysis of data that do not follow the usual assumptions of classical statistical methods, long before the terms Big Data or Data Science were established.
Prof. Schimek is worldwide cooperating with highly established researchers as well as with promising young scholars.
